U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The focus is on managerial competencies. A distinguishing feature of the program is a second foreign language requirement, which requires students to achieve an A2 level proficiency in a second language other than English. There is also significant interdisciplinary orientation through cross-coded/jointly offered courses with the Law Faculty and International Relations programmes. A third distinguishing feature is close collaboration with outside parties, including Foreign Economic Relations Board (a semi-independent trade group that conducts Business diplomacy) and Corporations.

Undergraduate Program in Industrial Engineering welcomed its first students in September 2009. The first structuring of curriculum was carried out under the guidance of ABET criterion with the examination of leading industrial engineering schools in the world and Turkey, in accordance with remaks of all stakeholders and consultants. Our Department also includes Bologna standarts in its structures. In the light of a new assessment phase conducted in 2014, we decided to be reviewed by MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs).

Without exception, each course in the program is offered by an instructor who specializes in the relevant field. The offered lectures cover both the basic and applied aspects of psychology. Each academic year, more than 20 psychology electives are offered to the students. Many of these elective courses offer the students the chance to be involved in group projects and obtain hands-on experience in various subfields of psychology. All students receive academic advising by the faculty, and the number of students advised by each academic is kept at 30.

Low course load on academics ensures they can devote substantial time to research activities. The research output of the faculty is monitored at the institutional level. Adequate financial resources for research are available and the infrastructure is improved on a regular basis. Multiple projects receive national and international funding. Our labs: Developmental Psy. Lab, Social and Organizational Psy. Lab, Cognition Lab, Relationship Research Lab, and Health and Sport Psy. Lab. Certain labs have wide outreach and benefit from strategic partnerships with public institutions.

The psychology undergrad program is designed according to international standards and is one of the only 12 such programs in Turkey accredited by the Turkish Psychological Association. The involvement of 16 full-time academics with PhDs ensures that the mandatory and the elective courses offered by the department balances the basic and applied aspect of psychology, while familiarizing the students with most of the subfields of psychology. The students can work in six active labs either on a voluntary basis or by getting enrolled in the elective courses titled ‘Independent Study’.
