U-Multirank's unique 'Sunburst chart' gives an illustration of a university's performance profile across the five U-Multirank dimensions. These are indicated in different colours. For instance, the teaching and learning dimension is symbolised by the colour green. Each 'sunray' represents one of the thirty plus U-Multirank indicators. The longer the ray, the better the performance of an institution on the selected indicator: a full-length ray stands for 'top group' performance, whereas a short ray means 'weak' performance. A missing sunray indicates that the specific data indicator is not available. An institution's performance in an indicator can be identified by moving the cursor over the rays. A key guard for the sunburst chart is provided here .

The aim is to train students to become professional managers in every sector of organised economic activity, to equip them with conceptual and interpersonal skills, and to encourage and develop the entrepreneurial capabilities necessary to meet the demand for highly trained professionals working at the top level of business management of industrial organisations. The program provides a sound theoretical basis for students' future careers, combining it with hands-on practice. The last semester consists of an internship at a multinational or local company, or at a non-profit organisation.

Recently, especially in neurosciences, gastroenterology, cardiology and chronic inflammatory disease s, our Faculty highlighted many new molecular pathways and drug targets resulting in high impact. Activities were performed with strong national-international collaborations, resulted in publishing 1464 papers (PubMed) in the last 5 years (peer-rev. intern. scient. journals). In the last 5 years 8 FP7 molecular medicine-related projects have been performed (grossly income ~€5.1M; including 2 ERC grants), 44 research prjs have been supported by domestic funds (€3560000 total inc. of these prjs).

Medical training at our institution is structured into modules. The Basic and Pre-clinical Module covers the first three years of medical education. The first two years serve as the foundation of basic knowledge, while from the third year training is extended with regular clinical practice. However, the areas of particularly intensive study are rather theoretical. In the practice-based Clinical Module (year 4&5) students intensively take part in the work of the clinical departments. In the last two semesters (the clerkship year/Final Module) students perform clinical rotations of 40 weeks.

The program gives theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing science. It encompasses all aspects of care, and offers also courses on e.g. psychological care, nursing research, nursing management and counselling. Students get theoretical knowledge in lectures and demonstrational classroom practices. At the end of the second year, they start clinical practices. Field practices are important in deepening their professional skills. The last two semesters consist of mainly field practices in clinics. The nursing degree in our institution is equivalent to degrees earned in other EU countries.
