The Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of the Basque Country offers 9 undergraduate degrees (Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electronic Engineering, Geology, Mathematics and Physics), 1 double undergraduate degree (Physics and Electronic Engineering), 14 MSc courses, 4 of them Erasmus Mundus Masters, and 6 own postgraduate programmes. Physics is the engine of development that contributes to the improvement of people's quality of life. It is present in our daily activity, through devices, such as computers or telephones, and provides us with the basic knowledge to develop other disciplines, such as medicine, to which it contributes new instrumentation and techniques. Students of the UPV/EHU's Bachelor's Degree in Physics study 240 ECTS, of which 42 correspond to optional courses and 12 to final degree project. They can specialise in three majors: Fundamental Physics, Solid State Physics and Instrumentation and Measurement.

This Master aims to form qualified professionals in all areas of Space Science and Technology and is aimed primarily to graduates in Engineering and Physical Sciences, although open to ther related degrees. The master's degree has the participation of companies from the space sector, technology centres of the Basque Country, astronomical observatories and the European Space Agency. Some subjects are taught by professors belonging to these centres and some of the students carry out their Master's thesis on them. The master's degree offers two highly customisable training itineraries.
